Ik ben een editorial trouwfotograaf in Fransschoek & Stellenbosch.
Ik specialiseer me in het vastleggen van bruiloften van Nederlandse stellen in de West-Kaap met aandacht voor emotie, verbinding en verfijnde esthetiek. Ik ben opgegroeid in Zuid-Afrika en ik ken het land goed. Tussen November en Februari ben ik regelmatig in Zuid Afrika, dus reiskosten zijn inbegrepen.
Voor jullie is het fijn dat alle afstemming in het Nederlands is, we kunnen in Nederland kennismaken en ook de afhandeling en jullie album vindt gewoon vanuit Nederland plaats.
Elegante, editorial weddings
Ik fotografeer met een scherp oog voor detail, zonder momenten te forceren of poseren dat niet bij je past. Ik begrijp je Pinterest en weet wat visueel werkt, maar ik maak geen hele dag tot een fotoshoot en haal je niet weg van wat écht belangrijk is: de liefde tussen jullie.
Intieme en persoonlijke storytelling
Ik beweeg mee met jullie dag. Ik blijf dichtbij, maar onopvallend, zodat jullie aanwezig kunnen blijven, bij elkaar, precies waar jullie horen te zijn. Later zien jullie dan niet alleen ziet hoe het eruitzag, maar ervaren opnieuw hoe het écht was.

Ik fotografeer in het moment: beelden vastleggen zoals ze zich vanzelf ontvouwen, verfijnd, editorial, zonder ooit als een fotoshoot aan te voelen. Jouw aandacht blijft waar het hoort: bij elkaar, niet bij de camera.

Ik hoor graag wat voor jullie het belangrijkst is en wat je wilt voelen als je later naar je beelden terugkijkt. Elke bruiloft is anders, net als elk verhaal.
Een persoonlijke verbinding is belangrijk voor mij. Ik ben de hele dag dichtbij en beweeg met jullie momenten mee op een rustige en onopvallende manier, zodat jullie alles kunnen beleven terwijl het natuurlijk zich ontvouwt.
Na ons gesprek ontvang je een op maat gemaakt voorstel. Zodra dit is bevestigd, is jullie datum vastgelegd met een aanbetaling.
Ongeveer een maand voor de bruiloft nemen we opnieuw contact op om de laatste details door te nemen. Dan ontvang je ook de eindfactuur.

Ik fotografeer bruiloften wereldwijd. Van Zuid-Afrika tot Mexico, van Italië tot Portugal en Zwitserland, en natuurlijk door heel Nederland, België en Frankrijk.
Een trouwreportage op locatie vraagt om vertrouwen, flexibiliteit en ervaring. Het is een eer voor mij om deel uit te mogen maken van iets zo betekenisvols. Ik reis dan ook graag naar welke bestemming jullie ook kiezen.

Yes, I'm available for destination weddings throughout South Africa, including Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and the Cape Winelands. My photography combines an editorial aesthetic with genuine emotion and natural storytelling.
Can we book a European wedding photographer for our wedding in South Africa?
Absolutely. I'm based in the Netherlands and available for international destination weddings. I work closely with my couples to make the planning process feel personal and effortless, even from a distance.
Do you photograph weddings at wine estates in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek?
Yes, I love the atmosphere of vineyard weddings. The landscapes, architecture and beautiful natural light provide an extraordinary setting for timeless wedding photography.
What is the best season for wedding photography in Cape Town?
The warmer months, generally from November to March, are popular for weddings in Cape Town. However, each season offers something different. I always take the location, weather and available light into account when planning photography.
Are you still available?
If you’re excited and would like to book me, please let me know your wedding date as soon as possible. The most important thing is whether I’m available on your wedding date. If I’m available, let’s schedule a no-obligation introductory meeting as soon as possible so we can see if we’re a good match.
What do you do in case of illness / absence?
I am rarely ill, but in the unlikely event something happens I have a large network of backup photographers who shoot in a similar style to mine. In such a case, that photographer will shoot alongside my second shooter, while I will still handle the editing. This way we guarantee that the style you fell in love with remains consistent.
Do you offer photography for multi-day wedding celebrations in South Africa?
Yes. From welcome dinners and wedding-day celebrations to relaxed gatherings the following morning, I can document the complete experience and all the meaningful moments in between.
Are travel and accommodation included in your wedding photography collections?
Travel arrangements depend on the location, dates and scope of your wedding. I'll provide a clear proposal so you know exactly what to expect.
We would like an option on our wedding date.
That’s possible. I will send you an invoice for a 30% deposit of the quoted amount. Once payment is received, the date is definitively reserved for you.
We have had to move our wedding date. What now?
Wedding dates are often booked well in advance. I block the day in my calendar and ask for a 30% payment because I may have to turn other couples away around that date. If, unfortunately, your wedding is later moved for any reason, the deposit is non-refundable. If we can agree on a new date, you will pay a new 30% deposit. If I am not available on the new date, I will help you find a suitable photographer with the same style.
